Ocean AdventurerWhat was your most memorable moment?
December 19 when we found ourselves encircled with a pod of about 12 whales that were communicating with each other as they surfaced and checked these yellow coated camera-happy humans out… it was a warm, sunny, still afternoon and truly indescribable the paradigm felt.

Russ is so personable and funny. Craig is extremely knowledgeable and easy-going. Santiago is expertise on most any question thrown at him. Johann’s positive energy, engulfs everyone. those were the only team membersI had for a cruise.
Tell us about the Ocean Adventurer
I would most definitely choose this trip again. Edgardo, our cabin attendant was wonderful. Extremely clean and conscious about our every need and friendly and kind the dining staff was superb in every way, and I think them for singing, happy birthday to me with an even talented guitarist.Onifre, Randy,Michael bonjovi, ,Mark, Rey, Jaime and a few more that I couldn’t pronounce their names we’re just so attentive and accommodating to our every needs even when I’ve got seasick and needed to ask for some crackers in between meals. Mariivi and Rina are wonderfully professional. Neil handled our Internet issue, professionally and kind and I apologize for seeming snarky over $75.
Something Else?
Dave Grant took care of me while I was getting sick on my birthday. I really appreciated everything you did for me. The doctor and her assistant were very sweet Abby and Todd and column Liam Finn all those. I really didn’t get to know very well just because we didn’t have time but I could tell they were Terrific individuals, and they all made the trip so fun, especially those last two nights with their provided entertainment.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
I would just suggest that Swoope or Cork include the $75 Internet fee. Tell them that it is included and it’s very choppy, but that’s due to us being an absolute remote areas and then it wouldn’t feel like an added cost after so much money paid for the trip.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes, it’s hard to articulate how feeling like you went back in time- ice ages ago -and are given this new lens on how to behave and appreciate as you grow and move on with the days you get on this planet
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
They are Fantastic!!! I’m sure you are proud to have each and everyone of them represent your company
Was there anything else Swoop could have done for you to help you prepare for your trip?
It would’ve been helpful for you to have a little more information on the airlines that service punta Arenas. The time was outrageous in their prices if you are not Chilean.
