Overall there were lots of disappointing moments got to do only 1 of the things i wanted to do...(polar plunge) Saw tons of gentoo penguins very little if any of much else people were nice...much younger crowd than i expected boat was ok, food was good, staff good.

It is beautiful but would not recommend to average person...it was definetely not worth what it cost.

If i had it to do over i would book directly there seems to be miscommunication between the ship's operator and travel consultants. it was certainly way overpriced for what we got if i had it do over i would research all boats carefully, contact them directly with questions on excursions/packing etc biggest issue was boots which hindered most everything else and what apparently was considered weather...although we had excellent weather

Zodiac trips to land were fine, very little variation in wildlife gentoos mainly most certainly spectacular scenery but not $11000 worth.

Biggest disappointment is all the cancellations so really paid just to go on a boat....we all thought it odd conditions were fine all day for zodiacs but same conditions were not fine in evening to go camping.....then they held lottery on last evening and they even managed to screw that up extremely disappointed

Far from what i hoped for huge disappointment would not recommend it would maybe to someone very wealthy where money is no object

I strongly recommend talking to the ship's operator direct packing suggestions took till last day to finalize and for women with regular boot issues this is a huge problem. spring you do not need super heavy gear...weather was -2 to 2 so quite mild
