Flipping off the back of the boat into 0.5C water during the polar plunge was absolutely breathtaking (literally and figuratively).

Tell us about the Island Sky
The ship was incredible. Very comfortable and the size was perfect. By the end of the trip we had made so many friends and everyone knew each other.
Tell us about the Kayaking
This is a must-do. We were able to see so much more and have a much more personalized adventure to Antarctica through these kayaking excursions.
Tell us about the wildlife
The wildlife was so amazing. We saw an innumerable amount of penguins, whales, and seals. We got so many incredible images and videos of penguins with their “derpy” personalities.
Tell us about the expedition team
The expedition team was fantastic. We especially loved Zach from the kayak team and Mark the customer service team lead. Overall, the entire team was exceptional.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Make sure to take every opportunity offered to you. You don’t know when the weather will be good.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Absolutely, traveling to Antarctica provides a whole new perspective on the scale of our world and the role that we have to play in protecting it.
