What was your most memorable moment?
The most memorable moment for me was being in a zodiac in the middle of a whale feeding frenzy. Absolutely incredible!

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
The zodiac cruises were amazing and just as exciting as all of the special activities. I absolutely felt safe at all times. Cruising next to whales were the most memorable.
Tell us about the expedition team
The expedition team was INCREDIBLE. They were the perfect combination of friendly, knowledgable, and hard working. You could tell they were all excited to be there and share everything with us. Pippa Low, the expedition leader, was the most organized badass person I think I've ever met. It was such a joy to watch her guide us through the adventure. Also shout out to Erin (kayak leader), George (assistant expedition leader), and Steffi (guide and amazing lecturer) who all stand outs.
Tell us about the Plancius
The plancius far exceeded my expectations. The cabin was perfect and roomier than expected and really felt like home. The food was also great and it was pretty mind blowing the variety they provided in such a remote locations.

I just again want to mention how fantastic this entire experience has been on all levels.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
I didn't find carrying that amount of cash to be as necessary as initially recommended. I would also say follow the packing list and do not feel like you need to add anything extra.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
It has really made me feel more connected to the polar regions and how they impact our planet.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Nope! Everything was great.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
I felt so well prepared and excited. The background offered through the reading list, zoom, and articles really made me feel excited and mentally prepared with more knowledge to really absorb what I was about to see.
