What was your most memorable moment?
We loved sea kayaking on our trip! The overall scenery was just astounding as well. The crew on Quark (expedition and service) were all fantastic.

Yes
Tell us about the wildlife
We saw whales, penguins, and sea birds galore. The timing was different that what I expected (whales in early December, nesting penguins) but we were happy with what we saw.
Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Definitely recommend ski googles as others have said, and a scarf or something to pull over your nose and mouth.
Tell us about the expedition team
The team was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The tour guides were excellent and definitely worked to keep us safe while letting us see as much as possible.
Tell us about the World Explorer
The boat was great! We had to switch rooms from a balcony to one with a drop down window, which was technically an upgrade as it was bigger, but I'd have preferred to keep the balcony of that was an option. The service staff were wonderful and polite. All facilities were nice and well maintained.
Tell us about the Kayaking
LOVED kayaking! It was so peaceful on the water away from the motors. It was also surprising easy to get in and out of the kayaks on the water from the zodiac. Definitely recommend ski googles as other have said.
Tell us about the Camping
Camping was great! It was nice to be able to spend a bit more time off the boat, but don't think you'll be hanging out around a non-existent campfire or anything. It was a tad rushed, mostly just shuttled to the camping spot, setting up, then tucking in for the night. You're back on the boat before breakfast. The equipment provided was certainly warm enough, though hand warmers didn't hurt either!
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Please provide more information on how to transfer between airports in Buenos Aires! This information would have been very helpful as we definitely got swindled. It was nice knowing the approximate cab fare in Ushuaia, but that would have been much more helpful in BA....or that we should use a different method or shuttle instead.
Was there anything else Swoop could have done for you to help you prepare for your trip?
