The kayak team were exemplary! I could not have appointed a better team to guide us. The rest of the expedition teams were fantastic too... lectures and landings.

I would recommend kayaking to everyone! It's the best way to see Antarctica!
Tell us about the Greg Mortimer
This was my first "cruise" so I wasn't sure what to expect. But everything from the cabin, the food, the staff and crew were fantastic. I would, in a hear beat, choose the Greg Mortimer again.
Tell us about Punta Arenas
Due to our flight delay from KG Island, I didn't get a chance to see much of Punta Arenas.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I will cherish and seek out the quietness of my environment. I will pay closer attention to purchases that might impact the environment.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Don't think about it, Do it! Be open to learning. Embrace it.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Everything was fantastic. But one thing... it was a little confusing to input/upload information on the Swoop website and then to have to do it again on the Aurora website, which sometimes wasn't working. Having 1 site would make things easier.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
I had been thinking about this trip for about 30 years so I was pretty excited! And having booked a year in advance, gave me plenty of time to prepare.
