What was your most memorable moment?
When the ship came upon a krill storm. There were about 80 whales, thousands of birds, and penquins all feeding. It was an amazing sight to witness.

Tell us about the expedition team
The entire expedition team were amazing in knowledge and skills, and so willing to share whether in a lecture or in an individual discussion while hiking or around the dinner table. Their love for the Antarctica region and what they do was so very evident. Not only could you tell the team were a family, but they made us feel a part of their family.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Bring a cup with a lid so you can move around the ship with your hot drink.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I now have a better understanding of sea ice, krill, and plankton and how without those three things life on earth is impossible.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
It would have been nice to know the connection between the trip offered by Swoop and G Adventures. The way the trip was advertised was very confusing. It would be better to use the same title and description and let people know the trip is through GAdventures.

Very prepared and very excited.
