What was your most memorable moment?
The vastness of Antarctica - the landscapes of mountains, icebergs were mind blowing. And then add in amazing wildlife - just wow! There truly aren't adequate words.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
YES! We even had some rough weather that came on one day, and the Expedition Team did a flawless job making sure we were safe and warm and got back to the ship safely.

AMAZING! They were so much fun, super engaging, and it was cool to have various experts on board to ask questions and get to know.
Tell us about the Seaventure
Nice boat! The room was even a little bit bigger than I expected. The boat crew were incredible - everyone from the guys getting us on/off zodiacs, the dining staff, the hotel staff - every need was met in a timely manner. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The food was sooooo good! We ate so well on this trip! Lots of variety and options. We would definitely go on this boat again.

Unfortunately weather didn't cooperate and we didn't get to go camping :(
Tell us about Ushuaia
Ushuaia is a cute town with an amazing backdrop of mountains. There isn't a ton to do there, but it was enough for a a day or two.
Tell us about Buenos Aires
We really didn't experience much of Buenos Aires due to flight times so we were mostly in transit in Buenos Aires.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Don't overpack! It's so tempting, but you really don't need as much as you think. Two sets of layers underneath the outer layers proved to be plenty.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
How big and small this planet is. Antarctica is sooooo far away and feels like another planet, yet going there also made me feel even more connected to this planet.

The Swoop team was excellent! Helped us navigate many questions and really streamlined our planning. Thank you!
