What was your most memorable moment?
There was not just one memorable moment. Is absolutely incredible. Seeing all the penguins seals and whales. The icebergs, especially in wilmina bay Made me feel like I was in the movie avatar the way of water. It was all totally amazing!

Wilhelmina bay was amazing! I enjoyed all the cruising and felt totally safe.
Tell us about the expedition team
The expedition team was great. My favorite lecture was the one given by jonathan about his two years living on the continent.
Tell us about the Ocean Nova
The ship was fairly modern and up to date. My cabin was pleasant But had a problem of sewage, backing up and occasionally had a sewage smell. I did not think the food was very good.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
I brought toe warmers and they kept my feet nice and toasty warm. I did not need the third layer of clothing. The base and the outer wear were sufficient for me But it was good to have it along, just in case.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I was shocked to learn that d d t was found in pristine ice. It is made me more aware of the need to keep our planet safe.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Sarah Orson was great.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
I felt like I was totally prepared. And was very excited to be able to have that once in a lifetime experience. Thanks to Sarah.
