What was your most memorable moment?
All was memorable. It really was amthe trip of a lifetime. I did really enjoy the blue sky day when we did the Shackleton hike on South Georgia though.

Loved all of the expedition team members - they were enthusiastic, friendly, at times very funny, knowledgeable, entertaining - all top class
Tell us about the Sylvia Earle
Fantastic new ship. I’d been following her since pre launch so knew we would have the best ship with the best crew. The “hotel” staff were brilliant and so was the captain who steered us away from rough waters over the whole trip.
Tell us about the Paddling
Super fun - will do kayaking next time though and get more time on the water (it’s worth telling folk that you only get to paddle on Antarctica - you don’t do it at all in South Georgia - which was a bit disappointing. Especially as the waters were just as calm there and we were all more than capable of continuing.
Tell us about Buenos Aires
Great - loved it - spent time there before the trip. Favourite SA city so far.
Tell us about Ushuaia
Worth a few hours exploration only. Or have longer there and try and take some kind of excursion. We weren’t really there for any reason other than to board our ship though.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Just do it!
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes. I think I wish I’d had another career (expedition team member!)

Well prepared with all info from Swoop and also Aurora.
