What was your most memorable moment?
It's hard to pick just one. The entire trip was magical. If I had to pick, I'd say it was setting foot on the actual continent and posing with Antarctica21's "7 Continents" flag. A close second would be when two pods of orcas decided to swim alongside our ship.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
The Zodiac excursions were a blast! Even when the wind and rain were brutal, I felt like the A21 team had full control over our safety and enjoyment.
Tell us about the expedition team
The team's passion for Antarctica and their own research interests was palpable and contagious. I found Pelin's talks on history to be particularly engaging. Michael was borderline poetic in the way he described the ecosystem and the birds that rely on it. Everyone was excellent, but the two of them were standouts.
Tell us about the Magellan Explorer
I'd 100% choose the ship again. Everything was luxurious, but unpretentious. I can't believe how many different staff members greeted us by name every day.
Tell us about Punta Arenas
We enjoyed walking around Punta Arenas and sampling the restaurants and bars within walking distance from the hotel.
Tell us about Santiago
Santiago is a cool city! Great food, culture and pisco sours. We'd definitely go back again.
