Tell us about Zodiac excursions
I felt safe at all times. The most memorable zodiac experience was while coming back to the cruise ship from Yankee Harbor. The zodiac guide took us near the Glacier as much possible and the scenery was breathtaking.
Tell us about the Magellan Explorer
The Magellan Explorer exceeded my expectations! I was in a grand suite and it was nothing less than a 5 star suite. The food was excellent and the Kitchen staff took care of my dietary restrictions and allergies. I will without a second thought choose this ship again :)
Tell us about the expedition team
The experience team was amazing - very knowledgeable, very friendly! My favorites are Loli F, Kristy and Cristian Suazo. I really enjoyed the lecture on the birds wildlife in antarctica and also the lecture on Krills and how they are the base of our ecosystem.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Tips - pack your medicines for sure! Make sure you have the right gear for the trip! Advice - forget about everything else in the world. Antarctica deserves your undivided attention and I can bet it will take your breathe away.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes it is! I look forward to exploring places even more than I did before this trip. It also made me even more conscious about plastic usage in everyday life and is making me think about the future generations. I would like my kids to know about plants and animals more than brands and celebrities and to make this happen we need to preserve the environment so that our future generation can see it in real and not just in books and Netflix documentaries.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Recommendations - It will be great if the rooms in the vessel have water bottle holders so that we can have our water bottles standing upright while we cross my favorite ' The Drake Passage' :)
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
I felt prepared and very excited for the trip. I just came with a mindset that I want to enjoy this trip and soak in all those breathtaking views that I will get to see. I left behind all my worries and my work laptop at home.
