What was your most memorable moment?
When a penguin woke me up during our camping with his long honk. I turned to look at him and saw the backdrop of glaciers.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
I felt safe and informed. It was memorable when a penguin swimming around us decided to try and jump in our boat. The first time it scared me. The next two times I caught him with my camera and ended up winning the photo contest under the category Fun and Creative.
Tell us about the expedition team
Tracy was so knowledgable and gave information above and beyond what I expected. All were knowledgable and friendly. Stand out presentation was by ? Telling the Shackleton story.
Tell us about the Seaventure
I would choose Seaventure again. Excellent staff especially our housekeeper. Food was delicious with many options.

I really enjoyed the Shackleton lecture.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Plan early, pack early, book, early. It’s a very active, physical trip, be sure you are fit. Age doesn't matter. Don't over pack.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I've seen every continent but Antarctica. Seeing parts of the world broaden your own world. Antarctica is a dimension beyond that. I felt like an explorer in seeing places and animals most mankind does not. God created this amazing planet, and he outdid himself with Antarctica.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
I have nothing but high marks for Swoop and the team. This trip was beyond my expectations.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
I prepared for this trip for over a year. Very excited and very prepared.
