What was your most memorable moment?
There were a number of memorable moments. First seeing the icebergs go by my suite window, or watching whales playing. Every day while in Antartica, there was something special.

Tell us about the Greg Mortimer
This ship is beautiful. My suite was great, with a balcony to step out on . Service was above and beyond, with staff who I believe really enjoy their job. The food was excellent and they were always willing to accommodate one's preferences. I would definitely go on this ship again.
Tell us about Ushuaia
The stay in Ushuaia was pleasant. The people are friendly and eager to help. It was great to hike from the hotel into the national forest and just relax. The hills of Ushuaia can be a challenge, but was a good work out.
Tell us about Buenos Aires
I only stayed at a hotel before my trip, so had minimal experience. I will have to say though, the people at the airport were very helpful and the taxi driver provided allot of information about the city.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Listen to what is told to you about dress to handling sea sickness. Also be prepared for a little more climbing and exercise then what is described. Getting in and out of the zodiacs as well as getting on land can be challenging.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I think I appreciate the earth more. I also have become more aware of my environment and the people around me. I also enjoy quiet time a bit more.

Keep doing what you are doing. It was a pleasure to work with you.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
I feel I was prepared for this trip. My excitement did not peak until I was in Ushuaia. I then realized I was actually going. Very hard to come back home and adjust to daily routine.
