What was your most memorable moment?
Kayaking, with the penguins swimming alongside us. Crossing the Antarctic circle and midnight on Christmas eve Everything was memorable its difficult to chose just one.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Plan the flights in advance and compare different options. You dont need as many clothes as you think. Take advice from Gadventures. If possible stay 2 nights in buenos Aires or Ushuaia. We stayed in Chile on the way home. Its not a cruise its an expedition ship and there is always something to do. The days are full of activities, Zodiacs rides, hiking, kayaking and lectures. You only need casual clothes.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Not really as we are well aware of the environmental problems in the world and live accordingly
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
We were originally given a leader in USA which didnt workdue to the time difference. That was a mistake by Swoop. Other than that no.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
We were well prepared but I wasnt excited. My husband was though. It was far better that I imagined. To be fair Im not a good traveller,
