Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
I brought too much clothing it was less cold the an expected but it was spring and that was my bad, but the advice received as to what to bring was very good.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
No, but it was a fantastic experience.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Congratulation for the team to having made this experience an exceptionnal one, but... for the camping expedition, I am a big person (not fat) and the sleeping bags were too small, even the large one.(Maybe getting bigger ones or simply telling big guys they wont fit and wearing the jacket given would be good. Also I wanted to enjoy the quietness of an Antarctic night, the signing of the wild life(mother seal and baby) but it was spoiled by other guesses (snoring) and quite a few did. Possibly unavoidable, but advise if the campers want to sleep to bring earplugs.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
Very, quite exciting. Would not consider another trip too antartica only because I have too many other thing on my bucket list!!!
