Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Yes, definitely felt safe and very enjoyable even when we didn’t get off but cruised around admiring the surroundings.
Tell us about the expedition team
All very friendly, helpful & informative. Nate the leader was great and Phil the historian was very interesting, especially his talk on his trip to the South Pole
Tell us about the Seaventure
Cabin was fine, better than expected. Daily cleaning was welcomed but not really necessary. Food was great but personally would have preferred an evening buffet rather than formal meal. BBQ was brilliant!
Tell us about the Camping
Unfortunately, this had to be cancelled due to fog. Big shame! Must check to make sure we’ve had a refund!
Tell us about the Paddling
If this means kayaking, it was fab! We definitely choose the best location. Guides were great.
Something Else?
The memory stick of photos & videos was much appreciated, nice to have some professional photo’s. Polar plunge was well organised & good fun.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Definitely take a smaller boat to get the most out of the trip. If work permits, try to do a longer trip including the Falklands & South Georgia. You don’t need so many thermals, it is warmer than expected!! Nice to have a couple of hotel days before & after if possible.

Yes, more aware of global warming, plastics ‘& pollution

Keep up the good work. The zoom meeting before the trip was helpful.
