The staff were fantastic. My great grandfather was one of the last Cape Horners in a schooner. The staff made sure that our family could be on the bridge when we were closest to Cape Horn so we could honour both my Dad and my great grandfather who were both sailors.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Expect the unexpected. The question about going to Antartica is tough because I have so many good memories and at the moment don't feel I could ever top the trip that I had.
