What was your most memorable moment?
Just the first sight of the the icebergs and the entire topography of Antarctica - its surreal.. its etched on my mind and heart forever.. There is some much that I saw and learnt in this trip about Antarctica that no literature can match that.. I will forever cherish these moments .. the penguins, humpback whales, sea lions and the silence too!!

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Enjoyed every single one of them. very safe.. the team is well trained to handle the passengers and the weather conditions of antarctica.
Tell us about the expedition team
They are the stars.. knowledgeable and keen to share .. and extremely focused so that the passengers all have a trip of their lifetime.. One lecture that stood out for me was the Antarctica Treaty!!
Tell us about the MS Expedition
Hidden gem.. Infact this was not the ship that was proposed by Swoop.. but I researched and asked this to be included in my options.. and I think it was a needle in the haystack that I could find.. The cabin 325 was amazing.. enough space for 2 passengers.. Food on MS Expedition was great - no complaints at all.. And yes I cant wait to choose this again for my next adventure!!
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Yes - If you can afford it .. Please please consider it.. its unlike anything that you will ever experience or see.. And the trip is not just a vacation but to learn about one of the remotest parts of earth.. which has been made accessible in such a comfortable way.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes.. Humbled that I could be there.. Amazed that there are so many people who volunteer to be there ( Penguin Post office).. Surprised that some countries claim their stake on Antarctica .. Calmed with the fact that the research is all for peace and no mining and no conflict zone Astonished to learn about the weather and how penguins fight it out every winter Feel extremely Lucky to be part of the small population on earth that could live and experience Antarctica
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Absolutely not!! You guys have set a very high standard.. Keep doing it with all the passion that you already have.. And yes you are helping travelers from around the world reach places that are hard to get to .. and research upon on their own.. SO A BIG THANK YOU FROM ME.. if it wasnt from Swoop.. I dont think I would be in Antarctica !!
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
You have no idea!! While Swoop prepped me to the T.. with everything EVERTHING in place.. I still was nervous with the experience.. cabin sharing.. and the Drake Shake.. but looking back.. there was nothing to worry.. we were in the safe hands of Swoop!!
