Were Swoop right to recommend Oceanwide Expeditions?

Yes

Tell us about Zodiac excursions

They were awesome (again). A cool way to see the sights and the guides knew what was going on and collaborated with each other so everyone got in on the action. Great folks.

Tell us about the expedition team

Again these dudes were awesome. Eaxh one had a role to play and were very nice/funny to interact with. Everyday they were happy to go out and more than happy to help with anything. Absolute pros

Tell us about the Plancius

The crew and captain were excellent. Always happy, fun to talk to, made you feel right at home I (and after talking to anyone i interacted with) felt the food was way above and beyond any of our expectations. It was SUCH good food. Incredible. Even days i didnt feel the best , there was always something i could find to eat. Everything was clean, and i was pleasantly surprised to find a laundry service on the ship. Again the did a great job

Something Else?

Honestly i didnt know what to expect or how i would handle being on a ship with strangers or sharing a cabin ect. But the whole experience was set up in such a way that it was just like a dream almost Looking back it still feels surreal. Like i stated earlier, the experience of the everyone involved (swoop, guides, crew) was 10/10. All the info is covered and there are times when you are just like “man they thought of that too!” It just shines through on the whole trip. Just one anecdote : after the (surprise to me) deck dinner party, guests were a little snake bit the next morning. The crew made everyone on the zodiacs hot chocolate (rum optional) to be served one the water! I dont drink anymore so i had a normal hot chocolate but I just thought holy smokes, these folks know what the hell they are doing here wow. This was after like 10 days of being constantly impressed by everything (sights, food, crew) and it was like “they out-do themselves everyday. It was awesome and to be honest i feel like what i paid was under what it was worth, but it would be hard to explain that to anyone before going! Thanks for the memories (and the post trip pdf itinerary is just awesome. Its hard to remember just everything)
