Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Plan your trip well in advance. There is much to learn about the cruise destinations. The better prepared you are and the more you know the more you will gain from your trip.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
It has given me a worldwide view of ecosystems and biomes. I used to thinks only in terms of non-arctic ecosystems. Now I see how all biomes, including the arctic, interrelate.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
I can’t think of any now.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
My advice is prepare well in advance. I started my booking process in early January. That is too late. If I had had more time I would have been much better prepared and excited.
