Why we like this ship
- The 2022 renovation upgraded cabins, suites and public areas, including a signature science center, and there's a choice of two restaurants
- The light-filled observation lounge and bar features vast wrap-around panoramic windows for enjoying the glorious Antarctic views
- The well-equipped gym has yet another panoramic ocean view; an indoor sauna and outdoor hot tubs round out the wellness facilities
- Professional expedition guides are on hand in the thoughtfully designed lecture theatre to help you deepen your Antarctic knowledge
- Though it has space for 250 guests, capacity in Antarctica is capped at 200 onboard, meaning there’s plenty of room in the social areas and out on deck
We think it's worth noting
- The entry level U2 cabins are some of the smallest in the polar fleet. Perfectly fine for sleeping and getting changed, but limited space for relaxing
We love the extensive bow space on Deck 5. It's perfect for photographers and those wanting to experience the spectacular landscapes and wildlife of Antarctica. The handy covered side walkways provide some welcome shelter if it's snowing or windy on the bow.

Onboard Communication & Facilities
The electrical supply aboard the ship is 220v, 50Hz. Electrical outlets are standard European two-pin plugs. Suites have 110v shavers. You may need a 220v/110v converter.
WIFI is offered on board through satellite connections, although coverage and speed is limited in remote locations. Capacity limitations mean guests can browse the internet but are unable to use streaming websites.
