More about me
I started my career in a big travel agency, which allowed me to travel a lot. First, I got to know Argentina in depth before discovering Uruguay, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru and Mexico. After backpacking in Europe for two months, I ended up living in Spain for two years, which gave me the time to keep exploring.
After those years abroad, I returned to Patagonia where I still live. It's my special place! Here, I can explore nature by hiking in virgin forests, swimming in pristine waters, riding horses through wilderness, skiing on snowy slopes and birdwatching – I'm crazy about condors!
I particularly love Patagonia's Atlantic coast for whale watching. The last time I travelled there with my son, a bottlenose dolphin splashed his face! Moments I'll treasure for the rest of my life.
My top 5 Antarctic experiences
The scenery is especially beautiful in the sunshine
- All the incredible wildlife sightings – blue whales appearing during the Drake Passage, humpbacks exhaling by the shore at Neko Harbour and a pod of orcas popping up en route home
- Seeing gentoo penguins everywhere at the huge rookery on Cuverville island!
- Being woken up by snow while camping on the White Continent (and warming up in a Jacuzzi when back on the ship)
- A sunny early morning in Paradise Bay with a bright blue sky and lake-like sea. Glaciers were everywhere, and the reflections of the mountains on the water were out of this world
- The photo recap of the trip during the Captain’s Farewell cocktail night and dinner. Reliving the memories of the voyage was such a heartwarming night
