Camping on the Antarctic land was the most amazing and serene experience we ever had or will have in future. It was the best to dig your own "grave", sleep under the stars, hearing avalanche and having penguins and seals lying around.. Very very surreal and most memorable experience on this trip.

Tell us about the wildlife
Amazing beings. Humpback Whale on last day of the cruise was perfect.
Tell us about the expedition team
Excellent team! Very friendly and helpful. More lectures about climate change and its effect on Antarctica and consequently on earth would have been good
Tell us about the Hondius
Just loved how well built and stable this ship was. Cabins were great, food was perfect too. I would love to go back on Hondius
Tell us about the Camping
Best part of the trip was camping on Antarctic land. Definitely a must do for everyone - experiencing the wilderness.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Just enjoy, don't expect too much out of the itinerary. It can change according to days and weather at this unique place.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes, we are more aware of how humans have messed up the earth eco-system and how we all now more than ever need to come together and start working towards fixing it for future generations.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
One thing we would have liked to know beforehand is if the boat is chartered or not. We had a huge group (100+) of Indian people from US that chartered our ship and rest of us were only ~70. The experience gets biased in such a group of passengers. If we would have known earlier we would have changed the dates or something. This was the only drawback we experienced.
