Tell us about the wildlife
Yes. Some great photos. Position in zodiac greatly affected this. Wildlife as expected. We were told elephant seals joust for beach position in November by Swoop. They do not. Liked all penguins. Leopard seal following a zodiac was intersting. Fabulous scenery.
Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Felt safe. Position by engine is dreadful: limited viewing and engine fumes. 10 on a zodiac is too many. No rotation of positions on zodiac and etiquette regarding kneeling down to let others see was not enforced. We had to ask for this and it was awkward. Mostly enjoyable but taking photos was, therefore, often challenging.

Mostly great. Bird lectures were first class - Mattias. Hannah on history.
Tell us about the Seaventure
Great cabin. Enjoyed balcony. Food mostly good. Some lacklustre flavours. Yes. Would choose it again.
Something Else?
Puerto Mandryn and the opportunity to visit Peninsular Valdes was the best. Saw orcas surfing onto a beach.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Ship must have stabilisers. Seaventure does and it matters. Expedition staff matter regarding safety. Expect itinerary to be changed.

No.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Be accurate about what you can see and when. If you have a member of staff on board, at least get them to interact with your guests occaionally. We felt shunned and an irrelevance to your company.
Was there anything else Swoop could have done for you to help you prepare for your trip?
No. Generally great prep info.
