Tell us about the wildlife
We adored the penguins

Felt very safe. Experts driving. Lots of valuable informative information given at all times. Loved the outings. We even had a penguin jump in and out of ours
Tell us about the expedition team
It’s a shame to name anyone as they were all stars. We got on well with Colin Souness. Lots of banter. He is very knowledgeable and a great teacher.
Tell us about the Ocean Adventurer
Loved the ship. Great captain who was determined to make it down to the Antarctic circle. It hadn’t been possible for the last few voyages. No seasickness spotted. Ship always steady. Very well appointed cabin. Fabulous shower. Plenty of shampoo and conditioner even a dispenser full of body lotion. Cabin was always cleaned and made up while we had breakfast and turned down when we had dinner with a chocolates on the pillows! The catering was exceptional. Different type of cuisine each evening with wine from a different country. We were well fed!

The hot tube was fun. Out on deck glass of champagne and icebergs floating past.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Realise that not all flights or sailings work out. The weather is very unpredictable there.

We live on a beautiful planet. Let’s take care of it.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Prepare passengers that flight/sailing can be delayed or brought forward so be prepared. We were not so flew into a panic. Having said that I only took 10kg and wasn’t upset about what I didn’t have. Especially as the wee shop had a good stock.
