The highlight of the trip was seeing all the penguins, seals, birds, whales, glaciers, and beautiful landscape. I never dreamed there would be so many penguins and seals and they would be so close to you. My favorite experience was seeing all the seal cubs and loved how they would run up to you about three feet and then run back. I also loved getting close to the seals that were on floating ice. The Hebridean crew were amazing and everything was so organized with lectures and landings. There was little down time. Safety came first when determining if a landing was possible. Having Sunny and Seb on board to share their experiences was another highlight. I liked how the crew ate with us and shared stories. The ship provided a e drive of pictures taken while on the ship so I will show these pictures to my grandchildren. They will not have to wait for me to go through my thousand pictures .

Antarctica exceeded my expectations and each day was a new adventure often seeing thousands of penguins and seals and beautiful glaciers.

I am so glad that Swoop handled our Antarctica trip. My husband did research and we had no idea which month to go or which ship. When John contacted us he indicated that the Shackleton trip was the one to take. We trusted his judgement since he was so familiar with the ships. Swoop was always quick to answer any questions that I had so I could be best prepared for Antarctica. We loved our cabin and it was spacious and exceeded our expectations. The only drawback was cigarette smell that came into our cabin every time someone smoked. I did report this but it was too hard to have someone check it out when it happened. We mentioned to the crew that John booked our trip and they all had wonderful things to say about him !!! We knew we had picked the right company to book our trip !!! Thanks so much. Pam and Oscar

Think I already answered alot of this. Best moments were landings with seal pups all around the zodiac. The staff were very skilled in operating the zodiacs and safety came first. They were amazing. Never dreamed would see thousands of penguins !!! I never thought there would be so many beautiful icebergs with beautiful designs. We were going to try to land where Shackleton ended up but it was too rough and we watched the crew return to the ship with one crew member safely lifted up in the zodiac into the ship.

The trip exceeded my expectations. Definitely glad we made the trip with Swoops recommendation. This trip would be for people who love adventure for example people who loved Africa would most likely enjoy this trip. #424 cabin cigarette smoke vents into this cabin. *** Ship needs tv channel with live feed from cameras on bow and stern so we can see where we are. Sometimes our group would not be called for zodiacs and then we would here final call for zodiacs.

You did a great job for us !!! Loved cabin #424 but cigarette smoke vents into this cabin. All travel documents were fine. Everything went as expected. Our AEP connection to EZE was close... did make 3 hour connection but traffic was awful !!!! You did tell me this would happen !!! Driver at AEP was there as expected. Thanks so much !!!
