Tell us about Zodiac excursions
At one time, leader raced another zodiac back to boat in heavy seas.the survival barrel in zodiac nearly flew out- had to be held down. The locked cabinet in front broke open and contents nearly flew out. It too had to be held down

In main, they were knowledgeable and helpful. Should have been lectures on Antarctica exploration

Food and serving staff were first rate and best part ofship

Bridge Crew, Captain, Hotel management were not very welcoming or friendly. Could learn about hospitality from Ritz Carlton
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Don't need to bring hiking boots. Muck Boots are all that is needed. Unless doing ice climbing then stiff mountaineering boots are needed Use the laundry service and pack less personal clothes
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes, Antarctica looked way less fragile then news reports have seemed to indicate

SWOOP itself did a great job in setting up the trip and being responsive. Well done
