I met the most fascinating people, saw amazing scenery, and enjoyed every minute of the adventure!
In one sentence, what did you think of Antarctica? Did it live up to your expectations?
It more than met my expectations - the trip was fabulous, the expedition team was fantastic, the crew and staff were the nicest bunch ever, and the food was too good for words!

Thanks to John for sending me the information that allowed me to take this trip. His diligence and attention to my needs (budget!) was what I needed to decide that the trip of a lifetime was within my reach!

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Don't cheap out on the waterproof pants, they are an essential part of the "staying warm" experience. And take waterproof gloves, they can make all the difference in the world!

I absolutely don't mind sharing photos, but I am sure others took better ones that I did. I especially like the Photo Journal aspect of the journey, it makes such a great experience even more memory-worthy.
