Overall, how was your trip?
Bailey head and Spork Island. Indescribable. The wildlife we were able to see was a gift from God. The whales took our breath away. We all froze when one went under our Zodiac ;) Everyone was friendly. I happened to bring one of my grandchildren who has been obsessed with Penguins her entire existence and it was the best gift of her life. The new years celebration. The BBQ was awesome and to countdown in the middle of ice was a privilege with the beauty of the midnight sun.
In one sentence, what did you think of Antarctica? Did it live up to your expectations?
Exceeded my expectations. It is the most magical place in the world especially Spork Island.

How was the service that Swoop provided?
Excellent all around! The experience was super! Everything that was recommended to us by John was on point. We lacked nothing in the voyage. We were well informed and completely prepare with the right clothing and what to expect. I will most definitely use Swoop travel again.
How were your experiences on the zodiac excursions and shore landings?
The ride to Spork Island and being so close to the whales. Everything, the icebergs were amazing. I admire how majestic they are. Extremely knowledgeable, educational, friendly, attentive. My granddaughter was sleeping when I decided to go on the excursion to Bailey Head not knowing what to expect. Once I arrived to the island I realized what was there and once of the crew members Damian Saunders and another crew member Yukie Hayashi went to retrieve Natalia so that she would not miss this experience that we had traveled so far for. I was grateful for them!
How would you describe {vessel.title} if talking to somebody potentially interested in going to Antarctica, and what tips would you pass on?
I would strongly recommend Swoop and the Sea Adventurer to anyone that can afford to go. We weren't sure how things were going to go. We just knew we wanted to experience this life adventure and it was beyond anything we could imagine. The only thing that I would recommend is ventilation for the food area because it makes you a little nauseous.
You chose a/an {area.title} voyage. How was that experience?
Of all the places I have been I don't believe this adventure can be topped with anything else. Amazing!
If Swoop arranged some of your travel before/after your voyage. How did we do?
Yes! Hotels were awesome! Yes we had everything we needed. Polarized glasses and camera lenses to reduce glare from the glaciers. Everyone was just great!
