Meeting new people all over the world while exploring the 7th continent. The landscape of Antarctica is amazing .

Tell us about the wildlife
I wanted a close up photo with a whale, but i did see them. I saw seals, penguins, and birds.
Tell us about Zodiac excursions
The guides were amazing and knowledgeable. The Zodiac provided opportunities for close encounters with the land and sea of Antarctica.
Tell us about the expedition team
They worked tirelessly to ensure all passengers had daily activities and fun. I felt like they never took a day off and im so glad to have met such smart and caring individuals.
Tell us about the Plancius
The cabin was warm. The food was delicious. The staff made me feel comfortable and I enjoyed every minute.
Something Else?
I wish the souvenirs had gear about goint to Antarctica. I wish swoop could organize the flights. I almost missed the entire trip due to lack of communication and cancellations from Argentina aerolineas. I had to rebook my entire flight the night of and missed my hotel reservation as a result. The last covid test should be done the morning we disembark, so the results can be used for testing.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Do NOT travel using Argentina aerolineas if at all possible unless you live in Argentina. Take sea sick medication because the Drake passage is crazy. Come with an open mind because Antarctica can be totally unpredictable. If you have the chance to go, do it while you can.

I see how humans are impacting the world.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Coordinate the flights as well and this trip is perfect. That was the most stressful part of this trip.

Bookee my flight or have an inside contact with the airlines. Other than that swoop did an amazing job.
