What was your most memorable moment?
The entire trip was absolutely memorable. One activity the stood out was the camping night. The silence and the beauty of the clouds changing overnight allowed me to really stop and think how grateful I am to be able to experience this sene of peace and calm. A feeling I will cherish forever. The great expedition team made me feel safe and able to enjoy each moment and the experience overall.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Loved them! Was my first experience and to be honest I was somewhat apprehensive as I’m not the best swimmer, but from the get go I felt safe and in great hands, so much that I never was uncomfortable and was able to focus on enjoying the sights and take photos
Tell us about the expedition team
The entire team was great! Nate is a great leader and Hannah’s historical background and insights made the experience memorable and interesting. Grateful to all the Zodiac drivers and Lisa for the photos at the end of the trip, such a great touch! Grateful to the expedition doctor for the additional seasickness meds… a lifesaver!!
Tell us about the Seaventure
The Seaventure was a great ship, the staff was friendly and helpful. Grateful to the chef for preparing a special dish as I was trying to handle seasickness on the way down.
Tell us about the Camping
Memorable experience. I wold definitely recommend it! A unique way to experience the peaceful beauty of the landscape. Just amazing.

This experience made us curious to explore the southern part of the world, possibly with another cruise in the area or trip to other parts of Patagonia
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
The instructions and pre-trip information and instructions were very helpful in ensuring we had the right gear and know what to expect. Also choosing the pre-arranged transport to/from airports in Buenos Aires were the right decision and worth every penny. The recommendation of a hotel in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires was also great!

None, other than a sincere thank you to all and a special thank you to Ben fur the cabin arrangement on the Seaventure. It made the trip! It made Ian’s 50 birthday memorable!
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
Very. The information provided through materials by Swoop and Polar Latitudes, the calls with Swoop, Iain and Ben, and the pre-trip webinar with the expedition team, were extremely helpful and made us feel comfortable, confident a d ready to take on such a long journey.
