What was your most memorable moment?
There are too many to share, but the one that stands out the most for me was when he had the Gerlache Orca's around the boat teaching their young how to hunt a humpback whale.

Tell us about the wildlife
The wildlife exceeded our expectations. For some reason we thought we were going to see king and emperor penguins, but we should of done some more research. I also wish we brought a fancier camera, but the photos oceanwide shared with us are amazing. Favourite encounter was the Orcas hunting the humpback whale.
Tell us about Zodiac excursions
The zodiac cruises were fun. We felt safe most of the time. Some wind on the last day made things a little more scary, but the crew was comforting. Most memorable zodiac cruise was when we were right next to the ship and a humpback whale swam right under our boat.
Tell us about the expedition team
Very knowledgeable and they were all very friendly. We will always remember Martin our expedition leader and Steffi was very helpful as well. We loved everyone else too!
Tell us about the Plancius
Plancius was great. Going through the Drake Passage knowing that this ship was an old navy ship and has been around for a very long time gave me great reassurance every night that we were not going to tip over. The food was excellent. The only food that was not a hit for most people I talked to was the cheesecake. We would definitively choose this ship again. We loved all the excursions that were included and the amount of people on the ship.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Just do it! Even though it's quite expensive it's the best trip we've ever been on and we will remember it for the rest of our lives.
