What was your most memorable moment?
All kayaking but especially through ice in Antarctica and coming upon a leopard seal on the ice. Stepping on to the Antarctic continent Abundant wildlife in South Georgia Stunning scenery

Tell us about the Sea Spirit
There were two children on board under the age of 12 which I was not happy with. I booked the trip with an expectation that there would be no children. On occasion children were noisy and did run around the ship or play in the lounges. The ship was comfortable and had plenty of space. Great library. Food was adequate. I liked that you could order simple dishes in addition to the nightly menu i.e. grilled chicken and vegetables. Bar prices were high, especially wine.
Tell us about the wildlife
FANTASTIC. AWESOME. INCREDIBLE Did not see Orcas but did see 5 species of whales.
Tell us about the expedition team
Not as friendly as expected but they did a good job. Enjoyed learning about Shackleton and especially the movie that was played about his Captain.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Sign up for the kayaking if you have adequate experience.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I am disappointed that IAATO does not cap the number of annual tourists to Antarctica and South Georgia. I am concerned that larger ships will bring more people and I believe that mass tourism will change the environment.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
The Swoop Buff was wonderful. Ideal for the conditions.
Was there anything else Swoop could have done for you to help you prepare for your trip?
Offer assistance with airport transfers and hotel bookings - some people may appreciate that.
