What was your most memorable moment?
Honestly the people and crew I spent time with while on the cruise. I went solo and was worried about being bored and alone on the cruise. I'm glad my budget basically had me limited to having a shared quad cabin. I ended up making friends with some amazing people in my cabin and the guys next door as well. I hope we all keep in contact. Also the crew was AMAZING they were professional but all so real and their backgrounds and histories could keep people entertained for days.
Which of the following best describes your adventure?
Life changing

9 out of 10
On a scale of 0 to 10, how would you rate your trip: Onto the Antarctic Ice?
10 out of 10
Were Swoop right to recommend Oceanwide Expeditions?
Yes
Tell us about the wildlife
I won't saw I was blown away by the wildlife, but I was blow away by was how relax the animals felt. I didn't feel like I was a stressing them at all the the crew was also watching and insuring that no one was breaking the rules.
Tell us about Zodiac excursions
I have to admit I thought this was eh so so the first day (it was wet and cold), but by the third day you are pretty tired so being driven around to see things up close is actually pretty fun. The ship is well prepared to load and unload the Zodiacs which is nice, they seem easier to enter and exit then some of the ships we saw.
Tell us about the expedition team
Hands down the best part of this whole thing. I didn't get to many of the lectures (sea sick or sleeping) but they all brought something to the table. They all interact with the guest which is nice. They really made the cruise for me. 10 out of 10.
Tell us about the Hondius
You can tell this ship was built with this purpose in mind. Never felt cold on board, never really felt trapped either. Its a nice ship.
Tell us about the Camping
Do I regret cmaping, no not at all, I get to brag I camped on Antartica, but honestly that's about it. You spend so much time during the regular activities that if it doesn't happen don't worry too much about it. The nights are short and you are sleeping in a snow hole lol. Would I do it again? Yes! Yes I would.
Something Else?
Only thing I think is Swoop needs to talk to Oceanwise to get some small details straight. They do no provide Parkas and there is no bus to take you to the ship any more, you walk yourself on. Otherwise it was amazing!
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
If you are on the fence about it, just go. Its worth it. Sea sickness patch over pills. Bring snacks, and don't eat the snow.
