I really enjoyed bouncing onto the penguins colony!!
Tell us about the expedition team
They are inspirational. Alison encouraged me on the science boat, Wendy explained the bird life and I enjoyed a survey with her. Nigel was so amazing on the zodiac when we had our day of many many humpback whales! Hadleigh was the best leader, completely and it was easy to put all our trust in him.
Tell us about the Magellan Explorer
Cabin was perfect. Food was unbelievable and staff fabulous. I’d definitely choose the Magellan again
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Know that the staff will guide you, it’s not a test, it’s there to be enjoyed at any level.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Absolutely. I see how everything relates to our Polars and will get this message out in any way I can.
