What was your most memorable moment?
Polar Plunge in Deception Island/Bay. Weather was beautiful and Polar Latitudes found a way to make the polar plunge work despite overcoming Covid challenges. My father was also able to take some really cool pictures for it as well.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Polar Latitudes and the ship crew were safe and professional.
Tell us about the expedition team
Very knowledgeable and clearly positive/stoked to be in Antarctica and on the trip with us.
Tell us about the Seaventure
A bit older and less fancy than advertised. Also the pool was not in service. However the crew was very friendly and accomodating.

Awesome! Penguins and whales!

Great job overall. I have already recommended Swoop and Polar Latitudes.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
They had dry bags and walking poles that they provided. So, letting people know they would be or would not be provided/what they need to bring on their trip.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
The vastness and amount of the globe covered by arctic regions. It is a different world and was eye opening. Also the conflict/lack of clarity over sovereignty/ownership was interesting. I am glad to be able to have gone/experienced this.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Just to communicate whatever you can about what to bring and what will be provided.. Like accurate details and communication between Expedition crew and Swoop. So we would not have needed to bring/buy as many dry bags and poles.
Was there anything else Swoop could have done for you to help you prepare for your trip?
Not other than stated elsewhere.
