What was your most memorable moment?
Most scary memorable moment was going through the Drake Passage since there was a storm it was pretty rocky going through. The most exciting moment was actually stepping foot on Antarctica and being greeted by penguins.

Tell us about the expedition team
The entire expedition team and hotel staff on Ocean Nova was top notch. Even though our trip did not go as planned they helped us to make the best of the situation.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Make sure to tailor your expectations. Since the weather is a determining factor of how your trip may go, make sure to keep a positive attitude that what you planned may not go as expected. Also, listen to what advice the team gives you about preparing for the trip. I felt that I was well prepared for my trip and did not need anything extra once I got there.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
It was defintenly a once in a lifetime experience and happy to say that I was able to visit Antarctica.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
The Swoop team was awesome along the way and I really liked having the webinar before the trip. Some other people on the ship said their company didn't have that so it was good to make sure all of our questions were answered.
Was there anything else Swoop could have done for you to help you prepare for your trip?
The only thing is that we were told the Parka jackets would be provided, but only boots were provided for Ocean Nova.
