Overall, how was your trip?
No surprises - except relatively quiet Drake Passage. Trip met all expectations in terms of wildlife, scenery and history. Staff and guides excellent. Fellow travelers largely as expected. Only downsides were day lost with cancelled flight, and inability to access the Weddell Sea.

Excellent service from the first contact right through the process. Very happy with the boat and the cabin.

Would not have wanted to be on a bigger boat so the choice was excellent.
If Swoop arranged some of your travel before/after your voyage. How did we do?
Everything worked as expected. Just one issue where the hotel in Punta Arenas was booked under the old name of my wife. It would have been easily fixed if the hotel improved their customer relations.
How were your experiences on the zodiac excursions and shore landings?
As expected. No issues. Always plenty of time to do everything we wanted to do onshore.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Highly recommend the fly in and boat out via the Falklands setup of our trip.

We are looking at the Arctic as a trip probably in the summer of 2020. Planning will probably begin at the end of this year. We'll relook at Antarctica in a couple of years after the Arctic and consider a trip that takes in South Georgia.
