What was your most memorable moment?
The whole trip was memorable, really. Like choosing a favorite child, its hard to choose a most memorable moment. I would say the craziest time was during our kayaking adventure when the iceburg we were kayaking by started to crumble and fall (at least 40ft high) so instead of originally turning to the iceburg to head on face the waves, our guide then yells at us to high tail it out of there as quick as we could. Always an adventure.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
I loved the zodiac cruises! They gave us a chance to see all the wildlife, AND ESPECIALLY THE WHALES, from a whole new point of view. Wow the whale watching on the cruises was just the best. Love.
Tell us about the expedition team
Everyone in our travel group fell in love with our Expedition Leader Pippa Low. She was the absolute perfect person for the job and we had many discussion within our group how great of a job she did, her and the whole team made the trip what it was. We loved the whole expedition team! They all had just the best attitudes and so much knowledge. Every landing we had Steffi there giving us loads and loads of info. George's enthusiasm and knowledge was great to have on the team, we just loved our Kayak guide Erin and hearing her story of rowing across the Atlantic. The Dave pair leading mountaineering were amazing as well and Tom and Eduardo gave us all the facts during our Zodiac rides. Honestly can't say enough good things about this expedition team.
Tell us about the Plancius
Loved the plancius!!! Couldn't see ourselves doing this adventure on any other boat! The food was great, we were shocked at actually how much room there was in the quad cabin! I would 1 million percent choose the plancius again, just the perfect side for such a trip!
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Do the basecamp, do the plancius, do it all. Pray you have Pippa leading the way (i'm sure there are other great leaders but, you still want pippa) Dont freak out about the temperature, it really isn't even that cold.
