Overall, it was a fabulous trip, something I had dreamt of doing since the late 1960's. Financially, I have only now been able to do it and I was absolutely thrilled by the whole package and experience. A personal experience of exploration and learning which I will always treasure.
In one sentence, what did you think of Antarctica? Did it live up to your expectations?
Definitely lived up to expectations.

How was the service that Swoop provided?
Swoop's service was outstanding. I was a little nervous using an agent in England when I live in NZ but it was the right choice. Definitely the right ship and trip. A very satisfied customer.

It was the perfect trip for me and I am an extremely satisfied customer.

All travel arrangements worked out well.
How were your experiences on the zodiac excursions and shore landings?
I can not speak highly enough of the expedition staff, of their skill, passion and expertise in so many areas which turned a wonderful trip into a phenomenal experience.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Definitely do the homework and preparation beforehand to make sure you get what you want.

PS I did go to Patagonia with Swoop after the Antarctic trip.
