Waking up, opening the curtains and seeing the magical view. It was awe inspiring. Watching the wildlife.

Every member of the team brought a different focus to our experience. They were engaging, passionate and worked very hard to ensure we had the best experience possible.
Tell us about the Hondius
The ship is absolutely perfect. Not to big, not to small. Had all of the amenities we needed and more. Absolutely loved it.

Was there anything else Swoop could have done for you to help you prepare for your trip?
I felt that we were perfectly prepared. The only reasons the answer to the questions below are no is we have a long list of places we want to visit and doubt that we will be able to come back.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
It is an area of the world that I had not thought about much before. I am grateful for the experience and the education. Fascinating politically.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Take your time. Make sure you have ample time on both the front and back ends for travel delays.
