Tell us about Zodiac excursions
The Zodiac rides were fine, I always felt safe. Loved the opportunities to explore more areas and get closer to wildlife.

Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Special shoutout to Jason Ransom - he was a great photographer guide and all around fun person to be around.
Tell us about the Ocean Atlantic
I would choose the Ocean Endeavour again. Food was good though I would prefer a buffet for dinner every night and hard boiled eggs would be a welcome option at breakfast. The cabin met expectations, loved that it had plenty of storage.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Bring lots of layers and sunscreen. I was coldest when I was out and about on the decks because there was lots of wind and I wasn't as layered up as I would be on an excursion. Be prepared to go with the flow and I highly recommend not purchasing the internet if possible - it was great to disconnect and full immerse in the trip.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Re-ignited my love for cold climates and snow and was a stark reminder of how much (negative) impact humans have on the planet.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
I was extremely excited, a bit nervous, and didn't feel prepared but ended up being happy I packed light and wasn't missing anything essential.
