Tell us about the Seaventure
Just Great all round, Selection of food, staff & Crew, well run & maintained ship
Tell us about the expedition team
Great expanse of knowledge and willing to share and advise, always approachable, made you feel like asking questions rather than - should I ask ?. Phil Stone - always looking, easy to approach and point out things, if he thinks you may be missing some animal or whatever. Se (well I think its his name) His lectures on Shackleton were told with real passion, you could not wait for the next part - always helpful and approachable, Well all the team were, just these two more so to me.
Something Else?
Zodiac trips could have been better organized especially when it came to landings - grading on ability rather than in just add hock groups, then some may have been able to have more landings. Also to speed up boat loadings they could load the Zodiacs as they were unloaded - in say two at a time (too keep the buddy system working) this would be much smoother in operation, less people standing around for long times, expedition staff not having to just hang about in zodiacs whilst the rest of the boats were being unloaded - more active time bot in trips and landings etc
Tell us about Zodiac excursions
The excursions were good and you always felt very safe - but some driver were more confident in handling the boats than others and took you closer with ease - some where not so.
Was there anything else Swoop could have done for you to help you prepare for your trip?
Correct info from start so that you do not waste monies having to rebook things
Would you consider another trip to Antarctica with Swoop?
Yes
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Don't think about it Just do it or you will always regret it - an experience NOT to be missed. When changing monies use the ATM,s in the banks for best exchange rates Airport transfers - only use licenced cabs or the buses and do not pre book its easier at the Airports or from your hotel
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes I need to go again

Team on board - Just thank You
Tell us about the wildlife
What can one say - to see whales, dolphins, seals penguins, gulls, albatrosses etc etc in their natural environments is just magical, to stand on the rear of the ship and watch the Giant Petrels, Albatrosses, Prions etc soar for hours without flapping a wing - to see spouts and then look and look for the next and then the whale - well part of them - it has to bee seen words can not express the feelings, sense and wonder that fills you.
