What was your most memorable moment?
There is so many moments but I guess seeing orcas swimming with the ship was my favorite.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
The zodiacs are great. The eteam were great at keeping us safe and allowing us to get close to wildlife and the environment. I think my favorite moment was when our driver turned off the engine and we just sat in silence and really took in where we were with all the sounds and sites of Antarctica.

They were amazing. Fun, extremely knowledgeable, talented and very interesting people. I loved learning about everything we were seeing.
Tell us about the Sylvia Earle
The ship was beautiful. The cabin was large and amazing. The food was great. They catered to all tastes. Would love to go on another vacation on this ship.

Highly recommend a trip with aurora. Will definitely be looking into future cruises.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
The trip was worth the cost. Being flexible is a must because everything is weather dependent but the crew really make every effort possible to make every day as amazing as possible.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yea of course. Seeing climate change first hand is a real eye opener. The work iatto and other agencies are doing to keep Antarctica pristine is a must and is taken very serious by aurora as it should be. I feel the human impact on the environment is minimal compared to the ability to educate and make expeditioners ambassadors for this amazing continent and it’s wildlife.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Hannah was great. The information available to us as travelers is extremely helpful and made it very easy to be prepared for our journey.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
I felt super prepared and had a great understanding on what to expect from the trip.
