The highlight was the enormity of the scale of the peninsular and the pristine, untouched solitude of the environment. The landscape was overwhelming and all encompassing, with a grandeur that we had not expected. We loved the antics of the penguins and the curiosity of the chicks. Up close viewing of seals and whales was awe inspiring. Our outstanding leaders helped to deepen our understanding and appreciation of this amazing world. Our fellow travellers were all like minded so sharing our experiences increased the enjoyment.

We were really pleased with the wonderful support from Swoop, and the wealth of information provided by them on the Internet. We appreciated Swoop's help in recommending Hebridean Sky as it proved to be the perfect trip for us. We especially loved the excursion nature and scientific approach of the voyage. We were very impressed with the ship's operator. They are extremely professional in all areas. The expedition team went out of their way to make it the best experience possible for us. They were very personal in their approach and always willing to spend time individually with passengers. The hospitality staff got to know passengers and their sense of humour and warmth made us feel welcome. The food and wine was of a high standard and there was plenty of both variety and quantity. I would certainly recommend the ship's operator to others and of course also Swoop.

Swoop helped with advice even though I did most of the research myself. I appreciated the very prompt response when I asked for opinions on the choices I was making. It was great to have Swoop organise transfer on our arrival in Buenos Airies and the half day excursion the next day was perfect for us. My only feedback for your team is that they did an excellent job, thank you all !

The highlights for us were naturally the animals and birds, and being up close to them. Crossing the circle was also an achievement, especially as so few tourist ships make it that far south. Learning about the history of the place while being there also made a great impact, as did the other talks about the wildlife. We only had one day when we could not go on the zodiacs or kayaks so there was plenty of time to observe and enjoy the environment. We also were able to visit several historical scientific bases and whaling bases. The expedition staff were excellent - not only knowledgable but also very experienced in their own polar exploration. They were very generous with the time they spent with us individually sharing their passions.
