Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
We over packed warm clothes, but the weather was warmer than we expected. Also we packed hiking poles, but did not need them since the ship had hiking poles for passengers to use.

Yes, seeing the antartic ecosystem in person has changed our perspective further on the need for conservation

Mariana did a great job of keeping us informed and looking after us.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
Very well prepared. The more info we got about the trip, from both Swoop and Antartica 21, the more excited we got. We were a little nervous too, since it was a lot of travel for us to get down the Punta Arenas, but we built in buffer time just in case for the travel there and it made the trip easier.
