Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Yes, very skilled operator and thorough safety procedures. In a Zodiac surrounded by whales and a small orca pod
Tell us about the expedition team
Yes, see above, I have already commented on them, seems almost unfair to single anyone out because they were all top quality, but Katlyn was superb on whales and we fortunate to be in her Zodiac a couple of times, Adam was superb as the leader and his lecture about his time on the research station fascinating
Tell us about the Plancius
Yes, Plancius was perfect for us, we wouldnt want to be on a bigger ship with the guests going ashore in shifts. Food was great, and all the staff friendly and helpful

Yes, much more aware of the environmental issues in Antartica

How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
Completely prepared, more than a years research, extremely excited, the experience exceeded expectations which were already sky high
