Whales whales and more whales and lots of whale tails. Also leopard seals!
Tell us about the expedition team
Everyone was amazing. Lectures were interesting and applicable. George was particularly engaging with his polar politics lectures. Also really enjoyed the photography workshop.
Tell us about the Plancius
Great boat. Comfortable, not fancy. Loved the observation lounge with big windows. Great gathering place. Food was a lot more high end than I expected and ( perhaps too) plentiful. One must fit into one’s clothes when one gets off the boat.
