What was your most memorable moment?
Awakening at 4:00am to see that we had arrived in Antarctica. The morning light was amazing. The scene was beautiful and serene.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Pick an itinerary that allows for more than 3 or 4 days in Antarctica. Weather can delay the ships and if you only have 3 or 4 days you could really get screwed by factors beyond anyone's control. We were so pleased that we picked a long itinerary with 6 or 7 solid days touring Antarctica. I recommend flying back from Antarctica. You get the Drake passage over with on the way there and then you don't have to think about it during your time in Antarctica.

It was amazing to see such a remote, unspoiled place.

Very prepared, very excited.
